PRIMAL Ultimate Club Inc. is a sporting club open to women, men and youth.

Due to our club numbers growing, we are starting a new league in the City of Stirling area on Tuesday nights as well as having our seasonal training events.

PRIMAL's vision is to provide a safe, enjoyable and sustainable environment for the local community to learn and participate in Ultimate.

Previously known as PRIMAL Women's Ultimate Club (since 2007) we have grown from a social group to a fully Incorporated Club receiving funding and hosting several events as well as participating in the past three Australian Ultimate Championships. One aim of the club was to increase female participation rates in this sport.

Due to the rapid expansion of the Club, we are now open to many opportunities for growth and have the chance to be more inclusive, extending our reach beyond women's development alone.

In September 2009 PRIMAL changed its  name to PRIMAL Ultimate Club to reflect the growth and new direction of the Club. We are looking forward to having men and youth members join our Club!

PRIMAL thanks Coach Sandy

PRIMAL wishes to thank Sandy Castleden who dedicated her time and Ultimate skills to coaching the club's Australian Ultimate Championship squad in 2008/09. PRIMAL performed well at the AUC09, finishing in sixth place.

Sandy has played Ultimate since 1982. Amongst her many achievements, she has twice represented Australia in 1985 and 1991, won 6 Australian Open and 1 Canadian Open titles, World Distance Champion in 1991 and is also the Australian women's record holder for Distance (102m), Maximum Time Aloft and Throw Run Catch events. Locally, she won the 2003 Matt Butler award for WA player of the year and captained the 2005 WA women's team. Sandy brought experience, leadership and a competitive edge to PRIMAL's 2009 team. Many thanks Sandy!
