South West Games - Bunbury
South West Games 2010
On 27 March 2010, Bunbury invited WA Ultimate clubs to take part in
this year's Games. PRIMAL sent a mixed team to the games and took out
3rd place. The first game was tight, with Rojo edging out Primal, 8-6.
Primal then defeated Bunbury's Butter Monkeys Black, 9-2. Butter
Monkey's White defeated Primal in our 3rd game, winning by 2 points.
Rojo and Butter Monkeys White went on to play in the final with Butter
Monkeys White coming out on top, 7-11. A great fun day had by all!
Western Regionals 2010 - Perth
13 March 2010
Hosted by the University of WA Ultimate Disc Club, Western Regionals had three women's teams compete, PRIMAL, Happy Pig and Kaos. PRIMAL won their first game against Kaos, 13-8 and with only 8 players on the day, this was a great win! Our sore legs enjoyed our bye, while watching Kaos play against Happy Pig. Kaos took out a win and Happy Pig went on to play PRIMAL. PRIMAL won their game, and headed to the final against Kaos. PRIMAL picked up a couple of Happy Pig players, giving us a few extra (and much needed) subs. Kaos got off to a great start, leading 13-7 before PRIMAL edged back into the game bringing it to even 13s. The final score, 14-13, won by Kaos. A very close and exciting game of women's Ultimate in WA. Julie Hardt from PRIMAL won the Most Valuable Player of the day and Happy Pig won Spirit.
Yokine Ultimate League #02 - Yokine

Congratulations to the winners of the 2nd Yokine Ultimate League - Young Guns. This team made up of players 19 years and under played with solid skills, speed and fire against Dunno. There were long hucks, layout Ds, sneeky up the line passes and accurate short throws from both teams. Dunno started off well with a 4 point lead before Young Guns great come back to win by 6 points. The Bronze Medal match was a draw between Pirates and Hammertime.

Female - Aleisha Gooch from Pirates on 7 points. Special mention to Hayley Arnet from Dunno on 6 points.
Male - Quinlan Oh from Young Guns on 10 points. Special mention to Matt Korner from Hammertime on 9 points.
